Copenhagen summit urged to take climate change action

Can not afford the Danish Prime Minister Rasmussen Lars Lokken described the climate summit in Copenhagen for the UN as an opportunity, the world to lose.
Opening the conference two weeks in Copenhagen, said delegates from 192 countries, would be a strong and ambitious agreement required on climate change.
Some 100 leaders attending the meeting, which wants to reach an agreement on significant reductions in emissions of greenhouse gas emissions.
The UN says an unprecedented number of countries have announced reductions in emissions.
Despite some intriguing music in the background, this morning also sounded notes of dark in the early stages of the conference for two weeks.
The sign officially for the first bone of contention between the parties was raised in the opening session. Head of delegation of Grenada, Iceland said the Association of Small States (AOSIS) to consider his options if a legally binding agreement has not been done on here.
It seems that this bloc of 43 countries that are not merely an agreement that they believe that the vote of the people here improve their country existenceSome the point that small countries can easily be bought to help with money or trade, or harassed can sign into compliance with their big brothers.
Certainly suggests that the story is true, but if they feel that their nation is the end in sight to the rising sea levels, perhaps changes in the usual way of business.
But arose on the first day of the summit, the boundaries between the blocks, with SIDS, indicating that he had nothing less than a legally binding agreement, including the reduction of emissions to accept.
In July, the G8 industrialized countries-bloc and placed in some large developing countries, a goal adopted by the global warming since pre-industrial 2C.
However, small island states that this is a serious impact on the climate and cause sea levels have played a lower target of 1.5c. A number of African countries have lower target.
BBC correspondent Richard Black Environment say that it is possible that the block will be added to the lower G77/China goal.
He said this would be a major obstacle, since none of the industrialized countries have reduced emissions in the range of values necessary to achieve to reach a goal 1.5c.
The African Union has threatened to continue negotiations if the developed countries agree to leave the poor countries pay for the transition to a cleaner.
